24hr negativity list
Ok so today’s topic is about Negativity, this is the tiny little voice in the back of your head that is all lie wah, wah, wah, poor me……
Look I am not saying you haven’t had stuff happen to you, we all have, Negativity is about the perpetuating snowball of doom, you are like Wylee Kyote from road runner, forever chasing the goal, never achieving and always getting squashed by the giant bolder… Sound familiar?
Well today we change it, it all starts by you observing again, I want you to list all the times your little egoic voice creeps into your head about “I can’t do…, you’re not good enough… you’ll fail…. It won’t work… (etc)…
The what is irrelevant, I just want you to observe, pay attention and write down and then reflect on what is going on, pay attention to what triggered the voice, what happened before the voice, how long did the voice last, how did you feel, what affect did the voice have on you…
Note it down and look over it at night, while looking over it ask yourself this “How does this serve me?” I don’t think any more needs to be said..
As an added bonus once you have done the first 24 hours of paying attention to the voice, then do the following for the next 24 hours:
Commit to 24hrs of no negativity, nothing, no bitching, whining or complaining, simply do not engage in it!
See how difficult it can be and where it shows up in your life and importantly who with???
